Field Journal

£22.00

The perfect notebook for nature journaling, field sketches, hiking observations, and everyday writing. Drawing on inspiration from pioneering ecologist Joseph Grinell's field journal system, our unique flip-top, landscape design lets you choose your preferred orientation page by page.

Ideal for:

  • Nature journalists, field sketchers, and green sketchers
  • Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts who want to plan their next escape, and capture recent memories
  • Fountain pen users and stationery lovers (there's a bit of tooth to the paper, so perfect for fast writing and a medium nib)
  • Scientific observations and field notes
  • Botanical illustrations
  • Daily journaling and creative writing (Emma uses hers in landscape orientation for longer prose)

Our commitment:

Every Acorn & Mire notebook supports UK paper mills and traditional craftsmanship. A portion of sales goes to forest, hedgerow, and peatland regeneration projects. Each journal is printed using heritage letterpress techniques in our Devon studio, offering an authentic alternative to mass-produced stationery.

Part of our wider commitment to sustainable stationery, these notebooks represent our dedication to both environmental consciousness and traditional British craftsmanship.
