Returns and refunds

As all items are made to order (we are a small scale company), we can't offer cancelations; all sales are final. We do understand that sometimes things just don't fit, this happens, we get it! As long as the item is clean, unwashed and sent back within two weeks, we will happily send you a new piece that fits or issue a refund. It's best to contact us first to discuss an exchange or refund so we can help you best.

Every item is carefully inspected before it goes in the post, but nevertheless, mistakes or faults happen, please let us know asap.

Note: Earrings can not be returned due to hygiene regulations.

Washing guidelines

Linen is a strong fabric and can be washed, dried and ironed hot. However, to keep your item looking as new wash on a gentle cycle on maximum 40C and line dry. Iron after if you want a crisp finish or just give it a little ruffle to return the line dried fabric to its softness. Linen gets softer and more absorbent the more its worn and washed. Our fabric is pre washed and double tumbled for softness and should not shrink more than 10%, if it does.

Cotton and Tencel are slightly more delicate fabrics than linen and although it can be washed well at 40C on a gentle cycle, turning your item inside out before washing, line drying and ironing is best to keep it looking crisp, especially with corduroy and needlecord.

Double gauze and wool need a little TLC when washed (but pay you back by not having to be washed that often as dirt usually only collects on the surface and can be brushed off when dry). Use a delicate detergent and a wool cycle or hand wash, do not wring but squeeze gently between two towels, reshape whilst damp and lay flat to dry.

Colour fading and transferral.

Organically dyed fabrics get slightly lighter when exposed to sunlight and or washed with detergent that isn’t natural. We think it adds to the overall look but its good to consider this when considering your order. It is not a fault in the fabric/dyeing.

We’ve never seen our fabrics bleed colour, testing it always ourselves first. However it is important to wash with a natural detergent to get the best results from your fabric and although we are confident our fabrics don’t run colour; we can’t guarantee it.
